Let’s continue with knotting methods and this time single split knot.
Single split knots are stronger than single knots but smaller than double split knots. Single split knots are widely used on lace and skin hair systems. On lace, they are usually used at front to offer a natural and gradual hairline. On skin, they give small and strong knots.
Single split knots have downsides. The two hair strands on one knot goes different directions and looks not neat. Single split knots loosen slower than single knots, but quicker than double split knots.
